Crowds applaud as sparks fly, fizzle, and whirl, creating a brilliant light show against the moon and stars. As hundreds of people stare in awe, the energy skyrockets and you can feel the buzz.

We at Farmington Lakes want to show you the best fireworks displays near Oswego, Illinois so that you have a fantastic time this Independence Day.

The Naperville Salute, just east of us, features food, beer, local bands, and a salute to our beloved veterans. On July 1-4, there will be a pre-show festival at Rotary Hill (440 Aurora Ave.). Frontier Park will light up with fireworks on July 4th (3380 Cedar Glade Drive). First Responders, Active Military, their families, and others will be recognized, and the festival will take place on the Riverwalk and in downtown Naperville. The fireworks on Sunday are free, and tickets for the Salute are $5 Friday and $15 on other days here.

Yorkville Fireworks Display
On July 4th, the town of Yorkville is planning a weekend Fourth of July celebration, which will include a parade starting on Game Farm Road and ending on Church Street at the water tower. Beginning at 9 a.m., there will be family activities in Town Square (301 N. Bridge) until 1 p.m. Fireworks begin around 9 p.m. at the intersection of Route 47 and Countryside Parkway.

The festival before the show will be held at Rotary Hill (440 Aurora Ave.) on July 2-3. The fireworks will blast off on July 4th at Frontier Park (3380 Cedar Glade Drive). First Responders, Active Military, their families, and others will all be honored, and the festival encompasses the Riverwalk and Downtown Naperville. Sunday fireworks are free, and tickets for the Salute are $15 here.

If you want to get further out in the countryside a bit, the annual Sandwich Freedom Days is coming back this year on July 3rd at Sandwich Fairgrounds (1401 Suydam Road) in Sandwich, Illinois. The parade starts at 10am, with the festival starting at 3pm. It is $5 to get in and fireworks will start after dark.
